High-precision laser profiling for metals and more β delivering clean, accurate cuts every time.
Our CNC Laser Cutting service is built around the Amada LC3015 XI NT β a professional-grade 4kW laser cutting machine capable of cutting sheets up to 3000 Γ 1500mm with positioning accuracy to within Β±0.005mm. Whether you need intricate profiles, complex shapes or tight-tolerance components, our CAD/CAM-controlled laser produces results you can rely on every time.
Laser cutting produces a clean, smooth edge with a minimal heat-affected zone, making it ideal for components that require tight tolerances or a high-quality visible finish. It's precise enough for decorative work and robust enough for structural parts β and with sheet travel speeds of up to 120 m/min, it's fast too.
We cut mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium from 0.5mm up to 12mm thickness. If you're unsure whether laser cutting is the right process for your material or thickness, just get in touch and we'll be happy to advise.
Our Amada LC3015 XI NT is equipped with an integrated automatic sheet loading and unloading system β a significant capability that sets us apart for larger volume work. Rather than relying on an operator to manually swap sheets between cuts, the machine handles this entirely on its own.
Raw material is loaded onto the system in bulk β up to five pallets, each holding up to 3,000 kg of sheet material. From there, the automation takes over: fresh sheets are fed onto the cutting table, the laser cuts your profiles, and finished sheets are removed and stacked automatically, all without any manual intervention between cycles. Sheet changeovers take as little as 30 seconds.
For high-volume orders, this makes a substantial difference. Jobs that would otherwise require an operator standing by throughout can now run continuously β including overnight or over a weekend β dramatically compressing turnaround times and reducing handling costs on larger batches.
CNC laser cutting is capable of extremely tight tolerances, making it ideal for components where accuracy is critical.
Laser cutting produces a smooth, clean edge with minimal burring, often reducing or eliminating the need for secondary finishing.
The focused laser beam produces a very small heat-affected zone, reducing the risk of warping or distortion in the material.
Once your file is set up in our CAD/CAM system, parts can be cut quickly and efficiently, keeping lead times short.
CNC control ensures every part in a batch is identical β perfect for production batches requiring consistent quality.
Efficient nesting of parts on sheet material minimises waste, keeping material costs down and your price competitive.
Email us your DXF files, CAD drawings, PDFs or even a sketch with dimensions. We'll review and confirm we can proceed.
We'll come back to you with a detailed, competitive quote β no obligation. We'll advise on material, thickness and process if needed.
Once approved, we program the job into our CAD/CAM system and cut your parts to your exact specification.
Your finished parts are ready for collection from our Lancaster workshop, or we can arrange delivery to your site.
Send us your drawings or DXF files and we'll provide a free, no-obligation quote. Fast turnarounds available.
